The Princess and Frog Soundtrack is a Compilation of Good Music
The Princess and the Frog animation is composed by Randy Newman, and released sometime in November of last year. This is Walt Disney return to their traditional techniques in making classic animation movie. The movie is entertaining and beautifully made and the soundtrack is one way to get to know the real character, it wills surely appeal to everyone whether young or old.
One of nicest things about the movie soundtrack is that it includes everything from the instrumental to the vocal tracks and even the sounds of the bass to strings. This will make certain that you can relieve the adventure of the princess, even in your mind while listening to their music. This is a great way to remember the movie and Princess Tiana.

The sound track opening is a catchy and sweet that has become one of the radio hits, it is a song by Ne-Yo the “Never Knew I needed”. The musical theme of this song is more R&B/POP, and a nice addition indeed to the entire collection, since we all know that Disney’s another tradition is to always include a song from at least one popular artist of the moment.
The entire track is a compilation of jazz, blues, fusion, gospel and zydeco is amazing, even without really knowing the famous Randy Newman is the one behind it. Dr. John with his “Down in New Orleans” is another music that has the distinction of Newman style, and reminiscent of the Toy Story sounds, which is one of his works.
Furthermore, the “Almost there” theme is one that shows the determination of Princess Tiana, and how she will endure everything just to reach and get her dream. I think this is one song in the movie that has really touched everyone who has seen and heard them. The “When we’re human” and “Gonna take you there” is fun and can make you dance and grove just by listening to them.
Moreover, “Ma Belle Evangeline” is for those who want to be in love and be loved, as it tells you how a beautiful girl is terribly missed. The “Dig a little deeper” is a gospel song and sung by the Jenifer Lewis, for the Godmother Mama Odie character, and I must say I do love the way it was done. One of the many uplifting and funny song I have ever heard, it is even made better with the Pinnacle Gospel Choir as its accompaniment.
