Is it better for your eyes to lower the brightness on a laptop while reading things?
I figured since it’s less bright then it should be screwing up for your eyes less?
Or is it easier to read when brightness is up, because I think it might be easier for me to read things with brightness UP.
The screen should be bright enough for you to see it comfortably. Remember to keep out of bright sunlight or you have to work too hard to see the screen.
I think contrast is more important than brightness as long as the screen is bright enough for you to read. Especially for text. If you have the contrast too high, text will look fine, but pictures will look awful. If it’s too low the text and images will look washed out and blurry.
