Chances at John Hopkins?
My GPA is 3.85 but my sat is terrible, 1650. I have great extra curricular activities which include volunteering as a EMT in an ambulance and running my small woodworking furniture business. I am in my high school’s nation honors society and I volunteer there. I have been in many clubs also. DO you thin JHU is a very high reach for me? should I even apply?
what if I take my SAT again and score say a 1800-2000
Ok, its JOHNS Hopkins, not John. DONT write that on your essay, if you call it John Hopkins, you’re totally screwed. Theyre really, really touchy on that!
Your GPA IS good, but like you said, your SAT is well… totall average, which is no good there. How many APs were in that GPA? If it’s less than 3, you’re screwed. If it’s more than 5, you’re good to go. if its anywhere in between, its up in the air.
